Tell us what you are trying to do
The first conversation is free. We discuss the problem, the desired outcome, what has already been tried, and what material may be available for an initial look.
Bring NorthStar the problem, a rough proposal or plan, the available records, or the process that is not working. You do not need to identify the right service before contacting us.
The first conversation is free. We discuss the problem, the desired outcome, what has already been tried, and what material may be available for an initial look.
Before NorthStar reviews a business proposal, financial information, or other sensitive material, the consultation is covered by NorthStar's standard nondisclosure agreement (NDA).
That may be a rough proposal, plan, process, correspondence trail, set of records, compliance question, or other unresolved matter. The preliminary review is focused on understanding it well enough to determine fit and a responsible next step.
NorthStar will tell you whether the matter appears workable, whether it falls within NorthStar's capabilities, and whether there is a practical scope worth pursuing. If it is not viable or not an appropriate NorthStar engagement, we say so rather than selling unnecessary work.
The proposed scope identifies the problem being addressed, the work NorthStar will perform, expected deliverables, responsibilities, timing, and fee structure. You can review that scope before deciding whether to proceed.
Once the scope and engagement terms are approved, NorthStar performs the research, analysis, documentation, systems work, coordination, or implementation defined for the project.
Deliverables are built around the actual need: a viability assessment, research brief, working system, documented process, compliance file, administrative package, action plan, or another clearly defined result.
